The ICAI CA Final syllabus under the New Scheme (effective 2024/2026) consists of 6 core papers divided into two groups, plus Self-Paced Online Modules (Set A-D). The curriculum emphasizes indepth knowledge of financial reporting, advanced auditing, strategic financial management, direct/indirect tax laws, and multidisciplinary case studies.

Group I (Papers 1-3)

• Paper 1: Financial Reporting (FR): Covers Ind AS, accounting for corporate restructurings, consolidated financial statements, and new standards (e.g., Ind AS 117 updates).

• Paper 2: Advanced Financial Management (AFM): Focuses on financial policy, investment decisions, portfolio management, risk management, and derivatives.

• Paper 3: Advanced Auditing, Assurance and Professional Ethics

  Covers company audits, audit standards (including SA 800/805/810), forensic audits, and professional ethics.
